"Klingon Sabre Dance" pre-dates the computerized version by many years, and is, in fact, from Star Fleet Battles. It is nothing at all like the Kaufman Retrograde other than they are catchy names for a standardized tactic. The Klingon Sabre Dance refers to the Klingon tactic of skating around their enemy at just outside of overload range, or at maximum overload range with high ECM up to degrade the effectiveness of the powerful but slow and inaccurate photon torpedo.
