Xemu's Long-Winded Game Industry Ramblings :: Ensemble's Next: Halo Wars

We've had folks working on this internally for quite a while, and it is shaping up incredibly well. This is another internal team than the game I'm working on (which is still secret, alas) and they have just nailed the controls and visuals. I can't wait until I can talk more about some of the things in Halo Wars, but for now, content yourself with some awesome images and a trailer... :)

Hmmm...hard for me to get worked up about this...I don't think real-time strategy games belong on consoles. Of course, I don't think first-person shooters belong on consoles either, which is why I've never cared about the Halo franchice. If there's no PC version, this will probably become the first Ensemble game that I don't buy.
